GlORIA BARTON
NHA Advanced Certified Trainer
for Teachers, educators, and parents.
Gloria is a retired high school and college biology teacher who spent her career working at schools throughout Upstate New York. She is originally from Rochester, New York, and now lives near her children and grandchildren in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband, Dick.
"I first encountered NHA in a 2012 district-sponsored training called "Transforming the Difficult Child in your classroom". In the next 4 weeks of using NHA in my classroom, my failing students transformed into high-achieving and motivated learners. In the rest of my teaching career, NHA helped many of my students to see and feel their inner wealth of great qualities, and then act on them. I also received district funding to train a group of my teaching colleagues in NHA. And in our family, our children and grandchildren appreciate NHA in our lives and in theirs."
I have a BS in Zoology, Syracuse University, and an M.Ed., Boston University. I retired in 2014, after teaching for 30 years in middle school, high school, and college science departments.
My certification in NHA Training, is 2012 to present.
I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, sailing, exercise, playing games with friends, and traveling.
We also love being grandparents and parents to our family in the area.
